Rough, tough, scaly and dry. No, I'm not talking about bearded dragons, I'm talking about my feet! After a dry, cold winter it's almost time to break out my sandals and flip-flops and expose my toes to some sun! But they're going to need a bit of work before I get there! Before I go in for my first official pedicure of the season, I need to do some prep first. Luckily, I popped into L'Amour Beauty, a Korean/Japanese cosmetics store in Toronto, and grabbed a Leaders Clinic Mediu foot mask to make it all better!

The April Lipstick Challenge: Day One to Eight

From pinks to nudes, blue-toned reds to fuschias, I've finished my first eight days of the April Lipstick Challenge and I'm pretty impressed with my results! I didn't use any vetoes, I wore each lipstick in public, and despite having to do some re-shoots for the colours, I think they each got a fair shake. Easter bunnies may come and go, but Cadbury Mini Eggs are forever. While other kids would wait patiently for Halloween or Christmas for their candy fix, my favourite time of year for sugar-coated treats is and will always remain Easter. I only recently ended a love affair with Cadbury Cream Eggs (too many formula changes) but I will always be a slave to Cadbury Mini Eggs. It seems only appropriate I decorate my nails in their honour, no?

The April Lipstick Challenge: Part One

In the fall I made a startling discovery, I had over FIFTY different lipsticks, lip stains, lip glosses, balms and more. FIFTY. **FIFTY!** To be sure, many of these were gift with purchases, from beauty boxes or unopened, but some were simply trendy shadres merely forgotten. Trendy lipsticks shades come and go but they stay in our makeup drawers for eternity. Hence, I decided to try a bit of a challenge to pick the lipsticks I would purge this April.
