Fall is firmly IN SEASON and Christmas shopping is nigh... but that doesn't mean I'm not also looking for a few things for myself! Last month's Covet Clique was really popular, and frankly, really fun.
The only problem? It totally makes me want to buy all the things.
Hahahaha, only kidding! (Sort of...)
(Spoiler alert: I wanted this so much I BOUGHT IT!)
I really like Origins skincare products but I've never tried anything more than a few samples at a time. So I was super excited for this package because it's one of the best-value skincare gifts at Sephora right now. The small tube in the middle, the Origins GinZing™ Refreshing Eye Cream 0.5oz is worth $37.50 as it is (and it's so soothing)! I also can't wait to try the Clear Improvement™ Active Charcoal Mask and the High Potency Night-A-Mins™ Mineral-Enriched Renewal Cream which smells like a CREAMSICLE.
This package is worth $127 and gives you a great introduction to this brand.
UPDATE: I reviewed the Origins Bestsellers Kit right here!
I recently tried out my very first OCC Lip Tar in Lovecraft and while I really enjoyed the light-orchid, metallic look, I want to go darker for winter! It LOOKS darker in the tube than it really is, it's more of a rich, metallic/shimmery burgundy red. Think less goth and more vamp! XOSparkage has a good closeup of it and Temptalia has some swatches too.
I met the lovely ladies behind this brand at the latest (and final one for 2014) Leslieville Flea and I was intrigued by their offerings and products. I only left with some white sage and a small vial of Parfum #19 but now I know I need to visit their shop to follow up. It's a gorgeously floral scent of geranium and lavender (South African Rose Geranium / French Lavender / Egyptian Geranium to be exact) and it reminds me of turkish delight but also is a romantic scent. It's sweet without being cloying or sugary. Did I also mention it's vegan, free of synthetic fragrances/chemicals and 100% natural? Yeah girl!
My whole life I've been the person with 'practical' coats. Because a) I CAN'T STAND being cold and b) these kinds of coats last longer. I've managed to edge myself out of 'boring' by getting bright colours (orange, cobalt blue, red, etc) but I've never gotten a fashion coat. You know what I mean. A totally impractical coat that you want mainly for aesthetic reasons. This could be that coat for me. IT'S STILL WARM...ISH. IT'S ONLY PARTIALLY IMPRACTICAL!
So, what about you? What do you have your eye on this month?
